The CSC SMART Group is a hands-on group of sales and marketing leaders from independent laundries who meet throughout the year to share ideas, learn together, and talk through challenges they're facing. It’s a great way to stay on top of industry trends, build real connections, and pick up strategies that actually work in day-to-day business.

The group meets three times a year in different cities, with each meeting lasting a day and a half. On the first day, CSC brings in a speaker—either a sales trainer or industry expert—to lead a session focused on topics like leadership, team development, or sales strategy. On day two, the group dives into open discussions where members share:

• Best Ideas – Things they’ve done in their business that made a real difference, whether that’s boosting revenue, improving service, or strengthening their team.

• Critical Issues – Challenges they’re working through and want feedback or advice on.

• Lessons Learned – Personal experiences or insights that others in the group might benefit from hearing.

The group also keeps in touch between meetings through a shared email list, where members ask questions, trade advice, and share updates.

SMART is built for sales managers, but it’s just as useful for general managers or company owners. If you’ve never been to a SMART Group meeting, you’re welcome to try one out and see what you think.

The CSC SOAPP Group is a group of production and operations leaders from across the U.S. and Canada who meet three times a year to share ideas, tour plants, and find real-world ways to improve how their facilities run.

Each meeting includes a plant tour, open group discussion about what they saw, and sessions focused on training in areas like safety, production flow, labor management, cost control, and overall plant efficiency. It’s a hands-on, practical group designed to help teams run better, smarter operations—while also keeping quality and customer satisfaction front and center.

You’ll also get to participate in roundtable discussions on best practices and real-time challenges. Whether you’re new to your role or have decades of experience, there’s always something to learn—and a lot to contribute. The group is ideal for Operations Managers, Plant Managers, Production Supervisors, General Managers, and Owners who want to invest in their leadership teams and improve the way things work in the plant.

The SECURE Group brings together industrial laundry service professionals from CSC Member Laundries across the U.S. and Canada three times a year. These meetings are built for Service Managers looking to improve their teams, strengthen customer relationships, and grow revenue within their existing accounts. General Managers who oversee service departments will also find the content valuable. Each meeting includes training around leadership, upselling, customer retention, and service excellence, along with group discussions on best practices and shared challenges. The group also goes on at least one plant tour each year, offering a firsthand look at how others are operating in the field. The CSC Owners Summit is an annual event designed exclusively for ownership across our membership. Over the course of a day and a half, members come together for focused conversations on leadership, business continuity, risk management, and long-term strategy.

This complimentary event is hosted by CSC and includes one night of hotel accommodations—your only cost is travel. Owners Summit offers a unique opportunity to step back from day-to-day operations, gain perspective, and collaborate with other business leaders who understand the challenges and opportunities unique to independent laundries.
