Health & Safety Plan

CSCNetwork will resume in-person events this summer. We can’t wait to see you all again!

We are working diligently to provide a safe meeting for our attendees, including by constantly monitoring and complying with the latest federal, state, local, and property guidelines and regulations, as well as the CDC’s information on COVID-19 precautions. For an outline of our commitment to safe and productive meetings, please refer to our Duty of Care.

We have also put in place the following Health and Safety Plan that will be updated as necessary by changes in government and/or property advisories and restrictions:

Before You Arrive

  • Attendees must complete a Live Event Waiver in order to attend this meeting.
  • All attendees must be pre-registered for the meeting prior to our registration deadline. Due to space restrictions at our hotel (the Aria), we will be unable to accommodate any on-site registrations. No exceptions.
  • As of July 21, 2021, the latest guidance from relevant authorities on COVID-19 mitigation efforts is as follows:
    • ARIA is following the latest CDC guidance by not requiring fully vaccinated guests to wear masks while on the property, including during CSC meetings and events. If you have not been fully vaccinated, you should wear a mask.
    • The Southern Nevada Health District issued a statement on July 16, 2021, recommending that all people, irrespective of vaccination status, “wear masks in crowded indoor public places where they may have contact with others who are not fully vaccinated.”
    • Clark County is requiring mask use for employees when indoors in public spaces at their place of work, regardless of vaccination status, and is requiring businesses to post signage emphasizing the Southern Nevada Health District recommendation that all people, irrespective of vaccination status, wear masks indoors.
  • We require guests to complete a self-assessment and be symptom-free before attending. If you have COVID-19 related symptoms, otherwise feel sick, or have recently been in close contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, please stay home. You can refer to the CDC’s COVID-19 Self-Checker reference guide for any questions on symptoms by clicking here.
  • We have an open line of communication with the ARIA, and their team is in constant communication with local and state health officials. Before the doors open, we will conduct safety inspections of the event space along with the ARIA.
  • Download the MGM Resorts mobile app (available for iOS and Android devices) to prepare for your stay at the Aria.

When You Arrive at the ARIA and During Your Stay

  • On the day of your arrival, use the MGM Resorts mobile app to check-in to your room, thereby avoiding a line in the lobby.
  • Once you’re checked in with the app and on-site at the ARIA, you’ll be able to use your phone as a digital key to unlock your hotel room door.
  • Please respect the choice of those who choose to wear masks at the hotel and/or during CSC’s meetings; they may not have been vaccinated yet or they may be among those groups for whom the CDC still recommends continued masking due to underlying conditions or because of medications that weaken their immune systems.
  • Easy access to handwashing and sanitizer stations are available throughout the hotel.
  • Complete a daily self-assessment of your health. Are you symptom-free (see the symptom checker above)? If you feel sick or have one or more COVID symptoms, please do not attend CSC meetings and events.

During CSC Meetings and Events

  • To avoid unnecessary physical contact, the registration table will not be staffed full-time. CSC will pre-arrange name badges in alphabetical order by company and then by last name and will place these on the registration desk alongside meeting agendas and other items of interest. Please find your badge quickly and then step aside to allow someone else a chance to retrieve theirs.
  • In accordance with the orders of the Clark County Commission and the recommendation of the Southern Nevada Health District, CSC staff will be wearing masks throughout the event and while in public spaces at the ARIA.
  • Speaking of physical contact, some attendees may not yet be comfortable with handshakes or hugs, so feel free to offer an elbow or fist to bump instead of a hand to shake.
  • We will have extra masks and hand sanitizer available at the registration desk for those who need these items.

When You Get Home

  • Should you feel ill and/or test positive for COVID-19 within two weeks of your return from this event, please contact David Bernstein immediately so that we can determine if any notifications need to be sent to the Aria or our other guests.
