SMART GROUP

Health & Safety Plan

CSCNetwork is working diligently to provide a safe event for our attendees, including by constantly monitoring and complying with the latest federal, state, local, and property guidelines and regulations, as well as the CDC’s information on COVID-19 precautions. For an outline of our commitment to safe and productive meetings, please refer to our Duty of Care.

We have also put in place the following Health and Safety Plan that will be updated as necessary by changes in government and/or property advisories and restrictions:

Before You Arrive

  • Attendees must complete a Live Event Waiver in order to attend this event.
  • All attendees must be pre-registered for the event prior to our registration deadline. We will be unable to accommodate any on-site registrations. No exceptions.
  • We require guests to complete a self-assessment and be symptom-free before attending. If you have COVID-19 related symptoms, otherwise feel sick, or have recently been in close contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, please stay home. You can refer to the CDC’s COVID-19 Self-Checker reference guide for any questions on symptoms by clicking here.
  • We have an open line of communication with the Hotel Indigo, and their team is in constant communication with local and state health officials.

When You Arrive at the Hotel Indigo and During Your Stay

  • As per the latest guidance from Nashville, TN, masks are recommended in public spaces for those who have not yet been vaccinated.
  • Please respect the choice of those who choose to wear masks at the hotel and/or during CSC’s meetings; they may not have been vaccinated yet or they may be among those groups for whom the CDC still recommends continued masking due to underlying conditions or because of medications that weaken their immune systems.
  • Easy access to handwashing and sanitizer stations are available throughout the hotel.
  • Complete a daily self-assessment of your health. Are you symptom-free (see the symptom checker above)? If you feel sick or have one or more COVID symptoms, please do not attend CSC meetings and events.

During CSC Meetings and Events

  • To avoid unnecessary physical contact, the registration table will not be staffed full-time. CSC will pre-arrange name badges in alphabetical order by company and then by last name and will place these on the registration desk alongside meeting agendas and other items of interest. Please find your badge quickly and then step aside to allow someone else a chance to retrieve theirs.
  • Speaking of physical contact, some attendees may not yet be comfortable with handshakes or hugs, so feel free to offer an elbow or fist to bump instead of a hand to shake.
  • We will have extra masks and hand sanitizer available at the registration desk for those who need these items.
  • All meals will be served as buffets with food items served by hotel staff. Please maintain social distancing while waiting in line.

When You Get Home

  • Should you feel ill and/or test positive for COVID-19 within two weeks of your return from this event, please contact David Bernstein immediately so that we can determine if any notifications need to be sent to the hotel or our other guests. Your privacy will be maintained.
